We would rather be checked than believed.

Every item below is something DYCO has done, and something you can check on this site before you contact anyone.

What DYCO publishes, and how to check it

The box says DYCO, and we tell you why

An OEM badge on a part whose mark the supplier does not own is not a better part. It is a counterfeit one.

Trademark law is why DYCO brands its own parts, and states the origin in writing. The about page has the whole answer.

We publish our engineering, and cite the standards

14 technical publications, roughly 56,567 words. Each is a numbered document citing the ISO, AGMA, ASTM and VDI standards it rests on, bylined to the DYCO Research and Development Department. You can read every one without giving us an email address.

We publish what our own papers cannot claim

A supplier who tells you the limits of their own evidence is a supplier whose evidence you can weigh.

So every publication carries a standing note: not peer reviewed, reports no original testing. Every computed figure names the published relation it was calculated from.

The counts come from our catalog, not from marketing

The part and make counts on the parts pages are drawn from DYCO’s own catalog system. Where a category is thin, it says so: cylinders is 17 part numbers, Volvo only, and the page tells you that before you click.

The warranty is on the site, not on request

Two years on final drives and travel motors, one on swing drives, swing bearings and main hydraulic pumps, six months on cylinders. What is covered, what is not, and how a claim runs — written down before you buy rather than produced after something fails.

Country of origin, in writing, before you buy

Not on request, not after the invoice. The country a part was manufactured in is part of what DYCO specifies and part of what it states.

What you will not find here

No countdown timers. No invented testimonials. No stock figures we cannot support. No urgency that exists to move you rather than to inform you. If you have seen those on a parts site, you already know what they are for.

Machine down? Start with the number on the tag.

Send the part and your machine to a dealer from here, or email the make and model and we will point you at one who stocks it.
